On the 16th April 2011 the Playstation was hacked and effected 77 million playstation users. The online gaming system, Playstation network has been down for almost 3 weeks.And it was said that personal details were stolen such as Name ,adress,credit card details such as account number and a hashed password.
I think that this is the work of an certain company . This is because the company doesn't want to be knocked out of the competion by sony.
the Company (not mentioning any names) most probably hired a proffesional hacker to hack playstation network.
As a result Sony are giving costumers compensation such as 30 days playstion plus and free downloadable content. But is this enough? as it has been reported that sony has sufered from a second attack which would probably take another 2 weeks to get back up and running.Sony are now giving 2 free games from a list of 5 to all playstation consumers. Sony users are losing there patience and buying an x-box360. Ever since the playstation went down microsoft has been making money and sony has been losing money. Coincidence?
